Nicaraguan cigars Torpedo are handmade by the very talented hands of Pipè, a Cuban cigar maker that is well known in the cigar community. Handmade with some of the best long-fillers in Nicaragua, he covered it with a Cuban-seed Habano binder and draped it all in a Connecticut shade-grown wrapper. The taste is mild to medium body, smooth and complex. You'll enjoy the nutmeg and light clove taste; the cream and orange peel notes that blend with the touches of cedar wood and wintergreen mint. The light breezes of toasted nuts adds to the complexity of this cigar's taste. Torpedo are 6 1/8 inches long with a ring gauge of 52. 10 cigars are hand-packed in a bundle.
Pipè, as he is known, was making cigars in Cuba by the age of 14. His long and distinguished career is well known within the cigar industry. Why is he not well known by cigar smokers? That's because Pipè does not sell cigars with his own label. All the cigars he makes are sold by famous brands. He's a cigar maker that grew up in tobacco fields, and knows tobacco and cigars, not marketing. He's a simple man who enjoys what he does best, make incredibly delightful cigars. Luckily for us, and you, Pipè needed some of our tobacco. We, in exchange, got some of his cigars and now you can smoke them at about a quarter of the price that you would have to pay if you bought them with the big brand cigar band that they were originally made for. They don't have the cigar band or come in a pretty box, but they taste great.

Very nice mild cigar with lots of smooth taste. Flavors build up as I was smoking it and towards the end I didnt want to put it down. Very nicely made and ash burned cleanly. jt - ND
